A field-sales AI agent for Priority ERP: a quote from a voice note

Updated · Leon Shmueli, Founder & CEO

The short answer

A field-sales AI agent is an assistant a salesperson sends a voice note or a text on WhatsApp, on the way to a customer. It reads the stock, the price from that customer's price list and the delivery date from Priority, prepares a quote and shows it before anything is recorded. After the approval the quote is recorded in Priority, and the PDF comes back on WhatsApp. A price off the price list or above the credit limit stops for approval.

What does a field-sales AI agent do?

A salesperson in the field needs three answers before walking in to a customer: how many are in stock, what this customer pays, and when the goods arrive. A field-sales AI agent gives them on WhatsApp, by voice note or text, from Priority, and in the same conversation prepares the quote.

The agent reads the data from Priority through MCP for Priority, and everything it records is recorded in Priority itself, like a quote the salesperson would have typed in.

How it works

  1. A voice note on the roadStock, price, delivery date and a request for a quote
  2. A transcriptThe agent works on the text, and asks again if unclear
  3. through MCP for Priority
A read from PriorityStock, purchase orders on the way, and the customer's price
  4. A rules checkCredit limit, payment terms and minimum order
  5. A preview and an approvalNothing is recorded before the salesperson approves
  6. A quote in Priority
  7. on WhatsApp
The PDF comes backThe quote and the datasheet, ready to forward to the customer

What does it look like in the field?

  1. The question

On the way to a customer, the salesperson sends a voice note: how many of an item are in stock, what the customer pays after their discount, and to prepare a quote for 40 units on the customer's payment terms.

  2. The answer

The agent answers from Priority: how many are in the warehouse, how many are on the way on an open purchase order and when it arrives, and the price from the customer's price list.

  3. The check

Before it prepares the quote, the agent checks the customer's credit limit, the payment terms and the minimum order.

  4. The approval

The agent shows the quote: the customer, the item, the quantity, the terms and the total. It is recorded in Priority only after the salesperson approves.

  5. The documents

After it is recorded, the agent sends back on WhatsApp the quote's PDF and the item's datasheet, ready to forward to the customer.

You can watch this example, with every call to Priority on the way, at 08:40 on our agents page.

Where does the price in the quote come from?

From Priority. The agent never makes up a price or gives a discount: it reads the price the customer's price list gives the item, as it is recorded in Priority. When someone asks for a price other than the price list, or when the quote goes over the customer's credit limit, the agent stops and asks for approval before anything is recorded.

A salesperson's quote can also go to a manager for approval. When the manager does not answer, the request moves on to the next approver, and the salesperson gets an update once there is a decision.

What does it record in Priority?

  • Quotes and quote lines.
  • Notes on the customer's card.

It records only after an approval, and one approval allows one operation. After it records, it reads the quote from Priority again, and reports it as recorded only with evidence in hand. It also remembers what a customer asks for, such as a datasheet with every quote.

And what about Priority's field-sales app?

Priority has its own app for salespeople in the field: quotes, orders, delivery notes and returns, collection, a visit plan with navigation, customer signatures on documents, and reports such as quote history and the balance due. It is the tool for orderly work with the customer, with screens and forms.

The agent is for the moments with no time for a form: driving, between meetings, or when a question spans several screens. It does not replace the app, and both record to the same Priority.

How do you start?

Start with reading only: stock, the customer's price, delivery dates and open quotes. Once the team trusts the answers, add preparing the quote, with an approval before every record.

The full checklist, what to check in any agent before you let it write to Priority, is in the guide «How to build an AI agent Priority can trust». The permissions per employee and the team behind the agent are in the guide on the internal WhatsApp agent.

Common questions

Can the agent give a customer a discount on its own?
No. The price comes from the customer's price list in Priority. Another price, or going over the credit limit, stops for approval before anything is recorded.
Is the quote recorded in Priority, or only sent on WhatsApp?
It is recorded in Priority as a quote, after the salesperson approves. Only then does the PDF come back on WhatsApp, with the quote number from Priority.
Does it work with Hebrew voice notes?
Yes. The voice note is transcribed before the agent starts working, and when the transcript is unclear it asks for the message again instead of guessing.
How does this relate to sales automation in Priority?
Sales automation in Priority is usually a fixed rule: when X happens, do Y. A field-sales agent adds what a fixed rule cannot do: it understands a free question from the field and prepares a quote to match it, with an approval before every record. Automation with fixed rules is covered in the guide «Automation in Priority ERP».
Do we have to give up Priority's field-sales app?
No. The app is the tool for orderly work with the customer, and the agent complements it in the moments with no time for a form. Both record to the same Priority.
What does it cost?
The agent is built for each organization around its team, price lists and approval rules. It works with Priority through MCP for Priority, whose plans and prices are on its product page.
